Marco created Banabar in 2019, after being fed up with always having date snacks. So he tried the dried banana and fell in love with it.
While making his products, he realised that the banana market had challenges: negative impact on the environment and on the population. He pushed even harder to act on this market by using only 100% organic bananas in his products (to fight against pesticides) and by devoting 1% of their total income to the farmers they work with.
Banabar wants to make people happy with a good and fair product but also to raise awareness and convince people to use only organic bananas.
