Château Martet, a historic estate built in the 13th century, is situated in France on a hillside along the Dordogne region. It boasts a remarkable heritage deeply rooted in viticulture. In 1991, Patrick and Albert became the owners of Château Martet and restored it to its former glory. Recognizing the importance of expertise in viticulture and oenology, they sought the guidance of Louis Mitjavile. Through their dedicated efforts in enhancing the vineyards, refining processes, and developping techniques, they successfully started producing an exceptional Bordeaux wine: La Réserve de Famille. Today, Patrick’s children carry on the legacy, nurturing the estate with outstanding wines, a welcoming ambiance, and a commitment to preserving biodiversity, all of which contribute to the reputation of Château Martet.
