Rheintaler Ribelmais Chips by Lütolf are swiss tortilla chips made from Rheintaler Ribelmais AOP in Switzerland. Rheintaler Ribelmais AOP is a traditional maize variety with a long historical background. It must be grown and processed in the Rheintaler region. Rheintaler Ribelmais is a pure land variety and, compared to the conventional food maize, not a hybrid variety. It is slightly lighter in colour (white/yellow) and tastes sweeter than conventional sweet corn. This “salted” swiss tortilla chips variety is suitable as an aperitif snack with a delicious dip.
