Curzilles is a Demeter white wine by Paccot Domaine La Colombe. It is from a plot situated in Féchy, marked by its limestone soil, where several grape varieties are planted together. This means that the grapes are picked at the same time and fermented together. Curzilles is then matured for one year in clay eggs to give it the time needed for its personality to develop. The perfect example of a wine that speaks of its home, one that is full-bodied, fresh and ever so welcoming.

Paccot Domaine La Colombe
Meet Paccot Domaine La Colombe. The Paccot family has been producing wine in Féchy, a tiny village in Switzerland situated in the hills of the Côte Vaudoise, for over 60 years.
Since 1999, the biodynamic approach was brought in progressively in Paccot Domaine La Colombe and is now used throughout the vineyards. This translates by carrying soil maintenance out mechanically, without any chemical herbicides or insecticide in order to preserve the soil’s microbial life. Products used to protect the vineyard are limited to Bordeaux mixture, sulphur, biodynamic preparations and infusions made from plants like nettles, horsetail and yarrow. Harvest is done by hand.
Nowadays, Laura is the 4th generation to take over the activities of the winery. We love spending time with her in the vineyard or the cellar to discover her take on biodynamic Swiss wines and excited for our community to discover this amazing local domaine.
